Dear Community,
I'd like to share a quick update with you today — and also an apology.
Over the past few weeks, I haven't had much time to focus on The Diary.
This is due to a mix of personal and professional challenges that are currently demanding a lot of my attention.
On the professional side, it looks like I'll need to start searching for a new job.
I've been aware of this issue for a while, but I had hoped my department wouldn't be affected.
Because of this, I've made the difficult decision to pause development of The Diary for an indefinite period.

The project is still very close to my heart, and I'm grateful that it has already found a small audience. But under the current circumstances, I'm simply too stressed to continue working on it at the level of quality I want to deliver.

On Friday (28.11) there will be one last update before the pause begins.
This update will include:

• the 5 passages translated so far (note: one of these belongs to an alternative route)
• the planned new features for version v0.4.0 (with some limitations, simply because I wasn't able to finish everything in time)

This will be a preview version, available only as Direct Play — including HTML download. There will be no preview version for Android or Windows. I'd love to hear your feedback on this release.

For everyone who has supported me through Patreon, Ko-fi, or a purchase on Itch.io:
I'll be issuing full refunds.
This is purely a precautionary measure — not because of any complaints, but simply to avoid unnecessary stress.
(On Itch.io, refunds for older purchases may take longer, as they need to be approved by the platform's support team.
On Patreon, no charges should have been made so far, since there is no monthly subscription. The current membership tier is tied to "per creation," and I haven't published any paid posts so far.)

I truly hope that, at a later time, with renewed energy and better circumstances, I'll be able to continue working on it.
